Dear Devotee, Hari Om! Salutations! Lord Ayyappa is the family deity of Melpazhoor Mana, the maternal home and birthplace of Sri. Adi Sankara, the world renowned saint and Advaita philosopher.This place was renamed as Adi Sankara Nilayam by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji and the Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), the center for Sanskrit Research and Indology , is established in these sacred precincts.
Within the Adi Sankara Nilayam is the ancient Ayyappa Temple built in the Kerala style according to the principles of Vastushilpa. The idol of Ayyappa is unique and it is Swayambhu (self-born). The temple complex is blessed with other Devathas – Sri Ganapati, Sri Krishna, Sri Rama, Sri Vettakkorumakan, Naga Yakshi, Nagaraja and Naga Devatas and Bhagavati. CIF is committed to protecting and nourishing these temples with the devotional offerings of devotees.



Sani puja

Description:

Shani puja is done to appease the shani graha or the Saturn planet. Among all planets, Saturn is the most dreaded. 

Benifit: In order to overcome risks of accidents and major life threats during the negative period of Saturn in your chart, it is good to offer Shani Dev a puja. It will provide you protection from any kind of evil.

Description:

Ayilyam Puja is dedicated to the serpent god and goddesses nagaraja and  nagayakshi.

SAASWATHA POOJA

Description:

Pujas are offered to all deities once a year for a period of 15 years,in the name of the devotee,to celebrate special occasions like birthdays,anniversaries or any other chosen occasions.Once the Puja is performed ,the devotee is intimated accordingly.For devotees residing  in India,puja prasadam will be sent to them.

Benifit: To get the Blessings from Bhagavan.

Description:

Sanctifying the Key by doing a Puja.The key being taken to Sanctum sanctorum by the Temple Priest and will perform the Puja.

Description:

Description:

Mandala Puja is a Specila Puja offered to Lord Ayyappa during the Mandalam period.It is observed from the 1 st day of "Vrischigam" month till 11th or 12 th day of "Dhanu"As per the English dates it will fall in between November 17th and December 26.

Benifit: To please Lord Ayyappa.To ward off Sani Dosha.

UDAYASTHAMANA PUJA

Description:

Udayasthamana Pooja

Offering  Udayasthamana Pooja is one of the  most popular offering to  Swamy Ayyappan. 

There are  18 Poojas with Tantric Rituals conducted from  sunrise to  sunset. 

The Udayasthamana Pooja is commencing on previous day at 7 pm with Ganapathy Pooja followed by “ari alakkal” for  Nivedyam by Donor under the guidance of Priest. 

On the day of Udayasthamana Pooja, the Garbhagriha will open at 5 am for Nirmalya Darshanam, Usha Pooja followed by 18 Poojas, Homam, Navaka Pooja, Abhishekam, Namaskaram, Kalabham Charthal and Niramala.

The second session start at 11 am for Nivedyam, Uccha Pooja and Deeparadhana.

The third session will start at 6:30 pm for Deeparadhana, Athazha Pooja and Unniappam Nivedyam and conclude with deeparadhana at 8:15 pm.

RAMAYANA MONTH-GANAPATHY HOMAM & BHAGAVATI SEVA

Description:

 .Ramayana Masam is an important observance in the state of Kerala. It is observed in the month of ‘Karkidakam’ of the Malayalam calendar while in the Gregorian calendar it corresponds to the months of July to August. This festival is also popularly known as ‘Karkadaka Masam’. During this time, there is a ritual to read ‘Ramayana’ on all the days of the month in almost all Hindu households and Temples.  During the Ramayana Masam, the recitation of Ramayana starts from the first day of the Karkidakam Masam and continues till the last day.Every day begin with a Ganapathy Homa,and in the evening ,Bhagavati Seva (Puja) also will be there.
