Description
‘Abhishekam‘ means ‘bathing of the divinity to whom worship is offered.’ It is a religious rite or method of prayer in which a devotee pours a liquid offering on an image or murti (idol) of a God or Goddess.
‘Karikku Abhishekam’ (bathing with tender coconut water) is an offering to Lord Ayyappa in the early morning during Nirmalya Darshana to please Lord.
